A Guide to the Game of School”

HOW TO BE A HIGH SCHOOL SUPERSTAR: A GUIDE TO THE GAME OF SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS AND TEACHERS
Part of the LearningRevolution.com ‘Survive and Thrive!’ Series
With Steve Hargadon

OVERVIEW:

Outside of family, the high school experience can be the number one influence on a person’s success or failure in college, work, and life. This webinar is about helping students to become high school superstars, to understand that there are secrets to school success, and how they can play the game of school in such a way as to become strong, lifelong learners.

The content for this webinar comes from advice given by hundreds of teachers who contributed to a special survey from me on this topic. The true purpose of education is to help students become self-directing and capable adults, and just one of the dozens of ideas from this webinar could make a huge difference for a student you care about. You can share these principles with a student or students, or you can invite them to watch it with you, and by registering you will have access to the recording, a PDF version of the slides, and a light workbook.

There is information below on arranging a dedicated 30-, 60-, or 90-minute version of this webinar for your school or library parents.

(This webinar was previously titled, “How to Win at School.”)
