Corpse flower stinks up Georgetown Greenhouse – Boston Herald

[ad_1]

A Corpse flower started blooming yesterday after a ten year hiatus at Nunan Florist & Greenhouses in Georgetown. The flower named after its putrid smell was on display where customers and visitors, young and old took selfies with the giant flower. Maureen Sheppard who has been taking care of the plant for over a decade says that it looks like the flower will last one more day as the bloom only remains for 3-4 days.
