Division 3-4 Dandy Dozen and Players to Watch – Boston Herald



DANDY DOZEN FOR DIV. 3-4

Connor Cronin, Sr., LB/RB, 6-2, 190, Marblehead: A force on both sides of the ball, Cronin caught 68 passes for 1,050 yards and 10 touchdowns, while adding 533 rushing yards and five more scores. He also ranked among the team leaders in tackles and picked off three passes.

Ian Dixon, Sr., TE/DE, 220, Wakefield: A two-time Middlesex League All-Star, Dixon can make his presence felt as both a blocker and receiver. He caught 19 passes for 328 yards and three scores last season.

Matt Festa, Sr., QB, 6-3, 195, Duxbury: A two-time All-Scholastic, Festa threw for 2,462 yards and 33 touchdowns in leading the Dragons to the Div. 4 Super Bowl. He also rushed for 461 yards and 16 more scores.

Chase Frisoli, So., QB/LB, 6-2, 185, North Attleboro: As a freshman, he stepped up and played a major role in the Red Rocketeers’ run to the Div. 3 state finals.

Jaden Hinton, Sr., OL, 6-3, 300, Oliver Ames: One of the top linemen in the Hockomock League, Hinton recently announced that he intends on heading to Columbia in the fall of 2023.

Casious Johnson, Jr., RB, 6-0, 210, Plymouth South: An explosive back capable of going the distance every time he touches the ball, Johnson is fully healthy after a foot injury put a damper on his sophomore season.

T.J. Kiley, Sr., QB, 5-7, 150, Holliston: A first-team Tri-Valley League All-Star, Kiley is one of several key returnees for the Panthers.

Braden Marceau-Olayinka, Sr., OT/DT, 6-3, 275, Melrose: A two-way force, Marceau-Olayinka recently gave a verbal commitment to Columbia.

Owen McHugh, Sr., QB/DB, 5-11, 175, Milton: McHugh is one of the rare talents who is capable of impacting the game on both sides of the ball. Expect him to be one of the top players in the Bay State Conference.

Eric Miles, Sr., RB/LB, 6-0, 185, Bedford: A two-way Dual County League All-Star, Miles rushed for 1,617 yards and 26 touchdowns on 158 carries last year. He also registered 69 tackles and three sacks.

Tyler McMahon, Sr., TE/DE, 6-3, 220, Masconomet: Very athletic two-way talent with 4.68 speed in the 40, McMahon is drawing interest from several colleges.

Danny Thompson, Sr., OL/DL, 6-4, 285, Scituate: One of the top linemen in the Patriot League, the Sailors are expecting big things from this senior captain.
