FIELD HOCKEY
Ellie Bouchard’s third goal of the game in the second overtime gave No. 1 Uxbridge (22-0) a 3-2 win over fourth-seeded Monomoy in a Div. 4 state semifinal. In the other semifinal, Caelie Patrick’s goal in the fifth round of the shootout gave No. 2 Manchester-Essex (16-3-3) a 2-1 win over third-seeded Cohasset.
GIRLS SOCCER
Avery DePaul scored with nine minutes remaining off a Shea Kelleher assist as No. 10 Silver Lake (11-3-8) advanced to the Div. 2 state final with a 1-0 win over No. 3 Minnechaug. … Emma Gavin scored the game-winning goal in overtime as top-seeded Oliver Ames (16-3-1) edged No. 5 Grafton, 1-0.
BOYS SOCCER
Justin Cao tallied the game-winner in the second overtime as No. 2 Sutton (14-3-4) edged Douglas 1-0 in a Div. 4 state semifinal.
Caelan Twichell found the net with less than a minute left on the clock to lift No. 9 Newburyport (22-0) to a 1-0 win over No. 12 Stoneham in a Div. 3 state semifinal.
VOLLEYBALL
No. 2 seed Tewksbury (20-4) made quick work against No. 3 seed Newburyport with a 3-0 (25-22, 25-14, 25-22) victory in a Division 3 state semifinal. Tewksbury was led by the performance of senior Carrina Barron, who finished the game with 17 digs, 15 kills and four aces, while Olivia Cueva had five aces and Vanessa Green had five kills.
“I am so unbelievably excited and proud of these girls and all that they have accomplished this season. This is the first time in program history that we have made it this far so I am feeling very honored and excited, and all of the things right now,” said Redmen head coach Alli Luppi.
Tewksbury will now play for its first ever state championship title this weekend against top-seed Dennis-Yarmouth.

Bishop Feehan’s Bryan Pinabell was named as the New England Patriots High School Football Coach of the Week after his team knocked off previously unbeaten Revere to advance to the Div. 2 state semifinals.
