Two weeks on, the search in Brookfield continues.
Brittany Tee, 35, was last seen leaving the Main Street home she shares with her boyfriend in the rural outskirts of Brookfield at around 8:30 p.m. on Jan. 10. She was traveling on foot. She was reported missing two days later.
Police described Tee as 5-foot-6, 120-pounds, and blue-eyed. A friend who spoke with the Herald last week said she has a distinctive voice. She was last seen wearing a black winter coat, a hooded sweatshirt, jeans and work boots.
Police, including special rescue units and State Police K9 units, continue to comb the area around her home, which features extensive and dense woods, the State Police announced in a statement Tuesday.
Dive teams — the State Police Marine Unit and the Underwater Recovery Unit — “will begin searching several ponds in the rural area.”
“The State Police dive team and the searches will be conducted based on weather conditions,” Worcester DA Joseph Early said in his last press conference on the search on Saturday. “They have to have the proper conditions in order to not put anyone at risk.”

“I can’t emphasize enough that these tips have been very helpful, both eliminating areas, eliminating things and giving us answers and pointing us in areas we believe and hope will be fruitful,” Early said Saturday.
Brookfield Police Chief Mike Blanchard also emphasized that people should call in and added, “We remind the residents of Brookfield to check their outbuildings and their sheds and if they discover anything to please call us immediately.”
