Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley, who started Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers in place of the injured Lamar Jackson, is in concussion protocol and is questionable to return after taking a big hit in the third quarter.
He was slow to get up after the play and jogged off the field before going into the medical tent on the sideline. Rookie Anthony Brown took over at quarterback, his first NFL appearance, on the next drive with the Ravens ahead 13-7.
Huntley entered last week’s game against the Denver Broncos in the first half after Jackson left with a knee injury. The third-year pro helped lead a late touchdown drive to give the Ravens a 10-9 win.
Brown was elevated from the practice squad to the active roster earlier this week. Brown played college football at Boston College and Oregon and went undrafted in the 2022 NFL draft. The Ravens signed him to their practice squad earlier this year.
