Steve Scanlon, Ray Pavlik net milestone wins


In the Middlesex League, Wilmington knocked off Burlington 2-0 in boys soccer action to help Wildcats coach Steve Scanlon reach 700 wins for his career.

In a Dual County League battle, Concord-Carlisle defeated Westford Academy, 3-0, as Patriots coach Ray Pavlik captured his 300th career victory.

Field hockey

Reagan Malo collected a hat-trick for Lincoln-Sudbury in a 4-1 win over Dual County League opponent Acton-Boxboro.

In Hockomock League action, Shaw Downing recorded a hat trick while Kaitlyn Carney and Payten Crandall added two goals apiece as Franklin blanked Milford, 11-0.

Emma Reilly notched a hat trick, helping to propel Andover (17-1) during a 6-1 victory over North Andover in the Merrimack Valley Conference.

In Patriot League action, Ella O’Neill scored twice as Hingham (16-1) defeated Marshfield, 4-1.

Girls soccer

Liza Minogue had a hat trick as Covenant Christian defeated Gann 4-1 in the Independent Girls Conference.

In the Catholic Central League, freshman Sophie Skabeikis scored twice to lead St. Mary’s to a 3-0 win over Bishop Stang.

In a nonleague contest, junior Kathleen Simmons scored two goals in a 3-0 win for Arlington Catholic over Lowell Catholic.

In the South Shore League, Chloe Kirchner registered a hat trick to guide Norwell (8-2-7) to a 5-0 shutout of rival Abington.

Senior Ellie Anderson led the way for Danvers (11-4-3) with two goals in a 6-0 win over Northeastern Conference opponent Salem. … Samantha Dormer recorded a goal and a pair of assists while Sydney Ball chipped in with a goal and assist to lead Marblehead (8-4-5) past Winthrop, 3-0.

Volleyball

In a nonleague match, Lauren Augusto (32 assists) and Brooke Davis (16 kills, eight assists) paced things offensively as Dartmouth (16-3) defeated Barnstable for the first time in program history, 3-0…Abigail Downs tallied 13 kills to go with 17 digs, helping to guide Billerica (13-6) to a 3-1 victory over Masconomet.
